Noor Bank Reiterates Commitment to Emiratisation at Careers UAE 2017

Bank to conduct on-the-spot interviews for UAE nationals at its stand 7A-5

Dubai-UAE: 9 April, 2017 – Noor Bank is participating at the annual Careers UAE, the ultimate recruitment event for UAE nationals, as part of its strategic objective to bring on board talented Emiratis for key positions.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Careers UAE will be from 9th to 11th April at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event aims to provide UAE nationals with the opportunity to meet with leading employers in the market.

Noor Bank personnel will be present at the event to talk about the bank’s strategy, mission and core values to candidates seeking to pursue a career in banking, particularly those interested in contributing to Dubai’s goal of becoming the capital of Islamic economy.

Hussain Al Qemzi, Managing Director and CEO of Noor Bank, said: “Year after year, Careers UAE offers a highly beneficial platform for employers to meet with some of the strongest candidates from the fresh crop of homegrown talent. The recent approval of a new point-based Emiratisation system in the financial sector by the UAE government is a significant development that will ensure continuous progress of UAE nationals throughout their careers.”

We have launched a management associate programme (‘Imtiaz’) in association with the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS), and recruited promising talented Emiratis in core banking roles within various departments. Careers UAE is open exclusively to UAE nationals and HR practitioners. This year, the event features more than 160 UAE-based companies from a variety of sectors and is expected to attract around 18,000 visitors.
