Noor Bank Recognised with 2 Awards at ‘2016 Service Olympian Awards’

Dubai-UAE: 23 January, 2017 – Noor Bank, a leading Shari’a compliant bank in the UAE, announced today that it won “Best Customer Experience: Journey Maps” and “Best Benchmarking Index: Best Overall Branches” from the 2016 Service Olympian Awards, hosted by Ethos Integrated Solutions.

Ali Moosa, Head of Branch Banking, Noor Bank, received both the awards on behalf of Noor Bank, in recognition of the Bank’s outstanding customer performance.

Speaking about the wins, Hussain Al Qemzi, CEO Noor Bank, said: “These awards are testament to the enhancement of the customer experience we provide across our channels. The Bank was named a winner of the “Best Benchmarking Index: Best Overall Branches” after scoring the highest in a ‘Mystery Shopping Experience’ survey by Ethos. The survey confirmed that customers were most satisfied with the helpfulness of staff, branch experiences, website interactions and call center responses. Noor Bank was rated highest amongst its peers against Ethos proprietary “value moments” approach and evaluation criteria.

Noor Bank also won the ‘Best Customer Experience: Journey Maps’ which outlines the process by which customers achieve their needs after contacting the bank for a product or service. Ethos Integrated Solutions’ judges were impressed by the quality of the journey map and the processes and procedures developed to make the services effective and easy to use.

The Service Olympian Awards regularly distinguish the country's top leaders in the fields of customer service in the banking industry. The awards are widely recognised as a benchmark for customer experience.

Since its launch in 2008, Noor Bank has gained a reputation for offering innovative and client-focused banking products and services. Noor Bank had previously won ‘Best Customer Communication’ at the Service Olympian Awards in 2015.
